Private & Therapeutic Music Lessons

Playing an instrument helps integrate a student's Body, Mind and Heart,

through music, intention and movement.

As your teacher, I will help you develop a balanced way of thinking about practice and performance, and how to create and maintain a healthy relationship between you and your instrument.

The physical body responds to the vibrations of music through the heart and it is common to feel more love and joy in this state of awareness.  When we focus our mind and breath, the sympathetic nervous system responds, and we are able to think more clearly and experience calmness.

By increasing your body-mind connection, you will improve your posture/position, vibrato, intonation, and musicality, helping you release anxiety, tension and pain.

To further your comfort with your instrument and move toward your musical aspirations and goals, we may explore breath patterns, movement, visualization and meditation within the private session.

Whether you're a seasoned performer, a string teacher, returning to your instrument after many years, or an absolute beginner, I can help you express yourself through your instrument.

I have fifteen years experience teaching string students of all ages. The last five years I've focused on sound as a healing medium, and I am ready again to share my love of music with students again.

Try out an Introductory lesson with me and see if we're a good fit!

I look forward to working with you!
