Orquesta Northwest and the Ballard Civic Orchestra are thrilled to open our “Roots without Borders” concert series! For the first event in the series, “Unearthing our Roots,” the Ballard Civic Orchestra will perform music by Mexican Composers Blas Galindo and Silvestre Revueltas. Featuring our good friends Gus Denhard and Antonio Gomez of Trio Guadalevin, Lummi Nation violinist and storyteller Swil Kanim, and traditional Aztec dance, don’t miss the special opening for our 2023 event series!
